Wyndham Hotels & Resorts just launched a new annual rewards program that offers members accelerated ways to earn loyalty points, along with complimentary status perks and exclusive discounts. Announced on October 21, the Wyndham Rewards Insider program offers subscribers ways to save on stays, as well as potential money off airfare, cruises, car rentals, and airport transfers.

For $95 annually, insiders can also save on admission to certain theme parks and aquariums, as well as on over 300,000 Viator tours and activities. Another fun perk is that insiders will get two Wyndham reward points per dollar spent on Ticketmaster tickets, and they can also use those points to purchase tickets.

“Bringing Ticketmaster into Wyndham Rewards is a game-changer – turning points into the most unforgettable live experiences across music, sports, theater, and more,” stated Mike Shiwdin, Wyndham’s Global Vice President of Loyalty and Guest Engagement. “Add in all the discounts and extra points – not to mention the exclusive perks – across other categories and partners, and the value of Insider becomes undeniable. Whether you travel two nights a year or two hundred, we designed it to be the easiest travel decision you make all year.”

What Else Is There To Know About the Wyndham Rewards Insider Program?

The Wyndham Rewards Insider program will grant members “Gold” status, which is usually achieved after five qualifying nights at participating properties. Of the four “member levels” Wyndham visitors can achieve, Gold member perks include free Wi-Fi, accelerated earning of loyalty points, and late checkouts (upon request and availability). Those with Gold status who book directly with Wyndham will also see the lowest available prices and receive priority for their preferred room choice. Moreover, they’ll receive at least 1,000 points per qualified stay, along with other special perks.

Insiders will also have a personal concierge to help them with their travel planning. Wyndham promises on the program’s designated website that subscribers will soon also be able to use virtual urgent care while traveling.

As of this reporting, those who sign up for the Wyndham Rewards Insider program before December 31 will receive two free months and 7,500 reward points (worth “a free night at thousands of hotels”). Those interested must become a Wyndham Rewards member before upgrading to the Insider program. Once upgraded, Insider perks, rewards, and discounts will be instantly available.

Scott Strickland, Wyndham’s Chief Commercial Officer, commented about the new Rewards Insider program in a press release. He said, “The world of travel rewards is changing. People today want more than just points — they want breadth, flexibility, and value they can feel across every aspect of their journey. Historically, such benefits were reserved only for the travel elite, off-limits to those without high-fee, premium credit cards. Wyndham Rewards Insider flips that script, putting the power back in the hands of everyday travelers – all for less than the cost of a night out.”
