In late May, Snoop Dogg and his wife, entrepreneur Shante Broadus, celebrated the opening of her new strip club in Los Angeles, The Players Club. The self-proclaimed “Boss Lady” opened the X-rated spot via her company, Boss Lady Entertainment. A Getty Images photo from the unveiling showed Shante and Snoop side by side on the event’s step and repeat.

The new gentlemen’s club—The Players Club— is an ode to Ice Cube’s 1998 directorial debut of the same name about a strip club. Tiffany Haddish, Too $hort, Brandee Evans, Big Boy of Big Boy’s Neighborhood, and Cedric the Entertainer were among those in attendance. DJ Drama and DJ Sky High Baby spun tracks.

A source told TMZ that Broadus wants her new spot to be where like-minded visitors can gather and party. The outlet added that dancer auditions were held Memorial Day weekend. Additionally, Broadus took to The Player Club’s Instagram page to share information about male dancer auditions held on June 12.

During an interview at the event, the Boss Lady claimed she throws money in the club better than Snoop. Before laughing, she added, “I had to show my husband how to make it rain.”

In mid-June, Shante and Snoop posted to their respective Instagram accounts to celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary. In the photos, the two longtime lovers posed together in matching light pink sweats.

Where Is The Players Club Located And What Should I Know?

Broadus’s new spot is in Downtown LA at 1800 S Main Street. The Player’s Club is open from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. and closed on Mondays and Sundays.

“I am thrilled to introduce the Players Club to Los Angeles. This club is more than just a venue. It’s a celebration of empowerment, beauty, and entrepreneurship, providing a space where everyone can feel like a boss,” Shante said in a press release, according to The Root.
