Vanves Is Close To Paris And Easy On The Wallet
Vanves sits strategically just outside the Paris “Périphérique,” the ring road surrounding the French capital. Its convenient location offers travelers easy access to central Paris, with train journeys taking less than 30 minutes. But the suburb’s primary appeal lies in its affordability compared to staying in central Paris.
Four-star tourist accommodations in Vanves typically cost between $100 and $150 per night, while similar-quality hotels in Paris proper average around $300 per night, as reported by Travel + Leisure. This price difference extends to dining and other expenses, allowing visitors to experience more of what the region has to offer without exceeding their travel budget.
In addition, a significant draw to Vanves is Les Puces de Vanves (Vanves Flea Market), officially known as Marché aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves.
