Blavity House Party

Blavity House Party is quickly approaching on June 14th and 15th. Still, it’s not too late for you to grab tickets for the star-studded function taking place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The average price for a Standard Adult pass is just over $180, giving you access to performances from icons like Lil Wayne, Monica, Victoria Monét and Blxst. Along with the musical entertainment, Zack Fox, Bridget Kelly and Mani Millss will be around to host. Other festivals scheduled among the roster of Nashville 2024 events are Bonnaroo (June 13-16), Barefoot Country (June 20-23) and Pilgrimage (September 28-29), which is held nearby in Franklin.

Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena is set to welcome some of the biggest names in music in the second half of 2024. After dropping We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, Future and Metro Boomin are set to take over the 20K-capacity venue in August. Later that month, Earth, Wind & Fire will perform live with Chicago in an unforgettable throwback spectacle before Childish Gambino begins September at the arena with a bang. Black Music Month @ National Museum of African American Music

Since 1979, the local National Museum of African American Music has dedicated the month of June to celebrating the influences Black creatives have had on the making of “timeless pieces of art that have saturated our nation’s heritage.” You can view their exhibitions from 12 pm – 5 pm on Sunday and Monday or from 10 am – 5 pm from Tuesday to Saturday. An adult ticket is $26.95, students/youth pay $22.95 and children under five get in for free.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party

Another of the Nashville 2024 events going down at Bridgestone Arena is the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party, which has three showings planned for your convenience on August 3rd and 4th. Saturday’s times are 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm, or you can spend your Sunday afternoon watching the excitement unfold from 2:30 on. No matter if you’re a car lover who wants to please their inner child, or a parent indulging their little one’s love for monster trucks, this event is sure to bring smiles to the whole family.

Music City Grand Prix

Grand Prix events take place all over the world – including in Nashville. From September 13th to the 15th you can catch the NTT IndyCar series making their presence felt in downtown near Nissan Stadium. Racers will be competing on a 2.17-mile-long circuit, which racing lovers can see up-close for starting at $149. For that price you can access NTT IndyCar, INDY NXT by Firestone, Stadium SUPER Trucks races and practice/qualifying events.

Anyone who’s seen one of the many Cirque du Soleil shows will tell you how fantastical their fusion of music, acrobatics, dance and countless other elements are first hand. In New York they have Mad Apple and Las Vegas tourists frequent performances like Kà and Mystère. Throughout the month of July, Tennessee will be welcoming the beloved French circus for a journey into country music with Songblazers at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Nashville Scene’s Burger Week

Southern states have a reputation for making some of the most delicious meals, and one of the best times to get a taste is during Nashville Scene’s Burger Week. 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of the annual celebration (July 8th to the 14th), during which middle Tennessee is “transformed into a burger lover’s paradise.” Over 60 restaurants are participating, putting their unique twist on one of America’s most famous menu items for just $7; Barvarian Bier Haus, Fat Bottom Brewing, Taco Bamba Taqueria and Wilco Fusion Grill are all hoping to win the competition.
