Luxury brand Louis Vuitton is bringing a fine dining vegetarian experience to Seoul, South Korea.
The brand is partnering with 3-star Michelin chef Alain Passard on a pop-up. The design is modeled after a vegetable garden.
A vegetarian pop-up experience
Chef Passard shares in a statement, “It will be a space that awakens the true taste of autumn based on fresh ingredients with the staff who have turned into gardeners.”
The Michelin-starred chef is known in the industry for introducing vegetable-based dishes to fine dining experiences. He is the owner and Head Chef at Arpège, a fine dining restaurant in Paris.
“When I first arrived in Korea, I had the opportunity to discover various Korean products like local vegetables, fish, and shellfish, and I was amazed by all of them. I hope this pop-up restaurant can become an opportunity to get closer to the Korean culture that I love,” shares the chef.
The aesthetics
Enjoy a picture-perfect view with flowers adorning the space. The natural wood, natural light, and rattan chairs add a rustic aesthetic.
“The curved window of Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul reminds me of greenhouses we have in our gardens in France,” says Chef Passard.
The menu
The fine dining vegetarian menu will consist of vegetable, herbs, and fruit dishes sourced from the chef’s gardens in Eure, Sarthe, and Mache, France.
Visitors can dine at the pop-up from September 17th to October 29th on the 4th floor of the Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul.
