Spencer Jones has been a writer for Travel Noire since 2021, and her published work also appears in The Huffington Post, The Advocate and Park Magazine. As a lifelong lover of travel, she’s able to weave her own globe-trotting experiences into her work. While most of her trips have been to Europe and the Caribbean, she’s expanding her domestic footprint lately. Born and raised in New York, Spencer wears many hats as a writer, artist, voice over actress and athlete. When she isn’t typing away at her computer, chances are she’s kickboxing, training for a sporting event, or climbing a mountain someplace for fun. Getting into voice over is yet another way for her to tell stories, and she’s looking forward to building a name for herself in that industry. Spencer is a proud of alum of Ursinus College, and she earned a master’s degree in creative writing from Aberystwyth University in Wales. While an undergraduate student, she honed her fiction writing skills at Oxford University.
